About Guede-Oropharyngeal Airways Set
A Guedel airway, or oropharyngeal airway (OPA), is a rigid, curved plastic tube inserted into the mouth of an unconscious or sedated patient to maintain an open airway. Lifting the tongue off the back of the throat, it prevents obstruction, allows for suctioning, and facilitates bag-mask ventilation.
